Matt Apuzzo and Adam Goldman of the Associated Press have revealed that Robert Levinson was working as an agent of the CIA before his disappearance in Iran. The former FBI agent turned CIA NOC agent was working under contract to the CIA to gather intelligence against Iranian targets.
